The color variations, especially on the edges and fringes are due to a long dyeing process. One side is first sprayed with a uniform color the scarf is boiled and dried in a natural way. The 2nd side is then printed and tinted. The piece is once more boiled and dried in a natural way. As each step is done by hand on each of these scarves, these variations enhance the beauty of the craftsmanship.
