The color variations, especially on the edges and fringes are due to a long dyeing process. One side is first sprayed with a uniform color the scarf is boiled and dried in open air. The 2nd side is then printed and tinted with 2 different colors. The piece is once more boiled and dried in open air. As each step is done by hand on each of these scarves, these variations enhance the beauty of the craftsmanship.
